Finding a DJ

So now that Kevin and I have found a ceremony and reception site and have a photographer the next step is to book a DJ. We have began the search a couple of weeks ago and we met with one DJ who was awesome, however he was way overpriced. So we decided to check out a DJ that was recommended to us. We found out that he would be the DJ at three events at our site. We tried to see him the first week and found out that the restaurant at our site was closed. We figured, fine we would come back the following week. So, the following week the restaurant is closed again! Twice we had gotten dressed up and ready and the restaurant was closed so we couldn't meet with the DJ. Well we finally made it to the third event and we met him.

He was very nice and we decided to set up a consultation with him. Now, the past week has been 90 degree weather but today it was pouring rain. On our way out to his business, we drove through a flash flood and thunder and lightening. Then we get out to look for the correct address and get drenched in the process. Kevin, the sensible one, decides that we should drive and look for the place instead of walking in the rain. On the way back to the car I step in dog poop (why can't people pick up after their dogs??) after Kevin warned me about it. I am wet and fed up at this point and I decide to reschedule the appointment. So far the hardest part of planning this wedding has been finding a DJ. Anyone have any suggestions on a good DJ?
